• Regardless of our role, as leaders we have an obligation to be the best that we can be. Being an effective leader takes commitment and ongoing work to tap into the best we have to offer. Our organizations, the community, and the people that depend on us, need us to step up.
• There isn’t one mold for a leader. Each of us is unique in the way that we think, interact, and lead. Understanding our uniqueness, as a leader, is crucial to being effective. The best way to understand our uniqueness is to understand our individual strengths. Research tells us that understanding and using our strengths helps us experience faster growth and development, be more creative and agile at work, feel healthier, have more energy, experience less stress, and much more.
• The key is identifying, exploring, and activating our unique blend of talents and strengths. We all have them.
