Vanessa Wimberly is a Dallas-based social entrepreneur, community engagement engineer, educator, and advocate determined to use her people skills and 30-plus years of management experience to bridge the business equity gap in marginalized communities. With high energy and a motivational leadership style, Wimberly builds inclusive teams to achieve outstanding results. Wimberly has worked tirelessly with the City of DeSoto, the DeSoto Economic Development Corporation, DeSoto ISD, and other community stakeholders for the past four years to rebuild and reenvision the DeSoto Area Chamber. She is the Co-Owner of MTW Truckmasters, LLC with her husband. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. (Z-Phi)
